Protect LGBT Youth In Michigan Schools

I believe Michigan Students all want a safe to learn, I am passionate about Education, but also passionate about protecting LGBT rights in Michigan Schools.  Conservatives actually introduced social study standards that would cut even the mention of LGBT rights in Michigan Schools.  We cannot let this mindset to take hold in our State's Educational system.  I will work to ensure every LGBT student in Michigan is protected from anything that would single them out, discriminate against them, or make them feel uncomfortable in their learning environment.
